11090702000C00A secondary air filter is the safety filter element of air intake system for JAC trucks. It is installed inside the air filter housing, working together with the primary air filter. It serves as the second line of defense, intercepting residual fine dust if the main filter is damaged, preventing dust from entering the engine cylinder and reducing wear of piston, cylinder liner and crankshaft assembly.
When the secondary air filter is contaminated or damaged, fine particles can enter the combustion chamber and cause serious engine abrasion. It is an essential consumable part for regular engine maintenance of JAC trucks.
