YC6M series engine is a classic heavy-duty inline 6-cylinder water-cooled four-stroke diesel engine developed by Yuchai, with power coverage from 280HP to 420HP and displacement of 10.338L. It supports multiple emission standards from Euro II to Euro V, widely used in heavy-duty trucks, semi-trailer tractors, large coaches and engineering machinery.
This engine adopts turbocharging and air-to-air intercooling system with 4 valves per cylinder design. It features strong low-speed torque, stable power output and good fuel economy. The optimized wet cylinder liner structure improves cooling efficiency and overall durability. Equipped with reliable fuel injection system, it can adapt to various harsh working conditions such as mountainous roads and long-distance heavy haulage.
With long-term operation under heavy load and vibration environment, vulnerable parts such as injectors, oil seals, turbocharger and gaskets may age and wear.
