201V01114-5501 Thrust Plate is the crankshaft thrust washer assembly of heavy truck engine, composed of upper and lower thrust plates. It is installed on both sides of the crankshaft main journal to limit the axial play of crankshaft and bear the axial impact force generated during clutch operation. It keeps the crankshaft working within the specified axial clearance, avoiding direct friction between crankshaft shoulder and cylinder block. Worn thrust plate will lead to excessive crankshaft end float, cause abnormal vibration and damage to related components, which is an essential part for engine overhaul.
